a time that we did well

This week, I had to do a writing task of a time that we did well, so this is what I wrote.

The cross country was on the school fields and on the Point England. It was at 12 pm on a Friday. The whole school was there. Because there was cross country. The whole school had cross country.

One day on Friday there was Cross country for the whole entire school. The cross country was at 12 pm. We all got changed in the bath room. So the whole school came to the kapua and sat in their year line. The whole te kapu was so stacked it was so full with their parents. When it started The year 7 and 8 elite came on the school field then lined up. But the first team was the year 8 elite. Then it went to year 7 elite year 1 boy and girls the year 2 3 4 Then it was finally year 5 so we went on the field and lined up all up on the starting line.

When we all got on the field we were anxious because we all were on the line to start the race. We had to run 1.5 kilometres. The race was going to start so Mr Burt said” on your marks get set go” so he clapped the clappers then we headed off. Corey was in the lead at first but when we went to the gait I went from 5th place to 2nd place. When I was at the point where England received rugby post i was so in front of all of the year 5s. Me and I were together. I was pacing myself and was puffing, I ran non stop until the very end.

 So when i got near the finish line i was running so hard me and sam were so close to each other. When I got to the very finish line I came second place but I was so proud of myself. Because I’ve never been that fast in cross country and because we had to run 1.5 which was the whole entire point of England’s reserve. When I was at the end I was so tired I even called down. The teachers that were at the end had to write what place we had come and what our name was. So that is what I had done in the 2025 year 5 cross country.

 

 

Conclusion,I had fun and I was so proud of what I did. I was so happy because of the hard work that I had done when I crossed the finish line. Another thing that I thought was that I haven’t done that well before. So that is why I love the amazing cross country. I was so excited about what I had done. This is why I had to train so hard to come 2nd place in the 2025 cross country for the year fives.

Spelling Words

This week, I had to do a spelling task. so on this task on the first page I had to do Monday and for Monday I had to read the article then I got the questions from the article. for Tuesday and wens day were a bit the same but on Tuesday I had to write the word I a definition. on Wednesday I had to get the words in synonyms. Then on Thursday I had to put the spelling words in in the Alphabetical Order.
